Novant Health in Salisbury, NC is seeking a Full-Time Pharmacy Technician II-Certified (IV Room) to join our hospital pharmacy team. The role centers on preparing sterile compounded products and supporting compliant, timely medication delivery to patients.

You will maintain IV room operations, ensure USP <797> and <800> standards, and collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe patient care.

Qualificações

• Must have HS diploma or GED.
• Two pharmacy skills or experience in sterile compounding required.
• Current registry with State Boards and certification (PTCB/NHA) within 60 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare sterile medications including IV admixtures per policies.
• Maintain IV room operations and environmental monitoring.
• Provide accurate medication distribution and inventory support.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and nurses to ensure patient safety.
• Perform non-sterile compounding and repackaging as needed.
• Answer calls and route inquiries to a pharmacist.
