Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Pharmacy Tech II-Certified to join our outpatient oncology pharmacy team, delivering optimal medication management across all dimensions of care, every time. The position requires hospital experience and sterile compounding experience, with opportunities for growth within a leading integrated health system.

Monday-Friday; 7:00am-5:00pm, rotating shifts. Travel to multiple facilities is possible, and the team offers a competitive benefits package and tuition

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2-year degree preferred.
• Minimum two pharmacy skills in acute care or outpatient settings.
• Current state pharmacy registration and required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Compounding and delivery of sterile admixtures, hazardous and non hazardous.
• Process refills to automated dispensing machines and maintain emergency kits.
• Maintain regulatory requirements and assist with procurement of meds and supplies.
• Answer calls and refer to a pharmacist when appropriate.
• Travel to other cancer institutes/infusion centers as needed.
