Job summary

American Oncology Management Company seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support chemotherapy preparation, dispensing, inventory, and regulatory documentation in Lone Star Oncology clinics. You will coordinate with nursing, physicians, and suppliers, maintain the Nucleus system, and ensure patient safety and compliance.

Requires PTCB certification or active pharmacy tech registration, a minimum of three years in healthcare, and occasional travel to educational meetings. A sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification or active registration is required.
• Minimum of three years in healthcare, preferably clinical settings.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to educational and research meetings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and mix chemotherapy drugs and solutions under supervision.
• Maintain proficiency with the Nucleus dispensing system.
• Review orders with nursing staff to anticipate special medication needs.
• Order, stock, and track medical supplies and medications, ensuring inventory levels.
• Perform maintenance of chemotherapy hoods and manage pump documentation.
• Maintain records for compassionate drug programs and clinical trials.
• Assist in training staff on chemotherapy preparation and Nucleus workflows.
