Job summary

American Oncology Partners, PA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to maintain medication orderliness, stock, and compounding in the Lone Star Oncology clinic. The role involves preparing chemotherapy under supervision, coordinating with drug reps, and ensuring compliance with laws and safety regulations.

Travel to educational and research meetings may be required; candidate should have strong collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, and pharmacy leadership.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification or Pharmacy Technician registration is required.
• Minimum of three years in healthcare, preferably clinical as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Valid State Driver's License for travel to clinics is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and mix chemotherapy drugs under licensed supervision and state regulations.
• Maintain proficiency with the Nucleus medication dispensing system and ensure accurate dispensing.
• Order, stock, and track medical supplies and medications with proper inventory levels.
• Maintain records for drug programs, trials, waste, and related processes; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist in training new staff on chemotherapy prep and Nucleus workflows.
