Job summary

Cancer Center of South Florida is seeking a Clinical Oncology Pharmacist – Medication Access Services to support clinical, operational, and financial integrity of oncology medication management. You will serve as a clinical liaison across providers, infusion operations, specialty pharmacy, and payer organizations to ensure timely patient access.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of oncology pharmacotherapy including chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
• Strong understanding of regulatory standards (USP 797/800, ACHC).
• Familiarity with NCCN guidelines and payer criteria.

Responsibilities

• Review oncology treatment plans for clinical appropriateness and payer criteria.
• Collaborate with providers, infusion teams, and revenue cycle to enable timely access to therapies.
• Oversee prior authorizations and medical necessity documentation.
• Support denial prevention and appeal processes with evidence-based justification.
• Guide access to medications and participate in formulary optimization and payer strategy.
