Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) in Florida (Hybrid) is seeking a Clinical Oncology Pharmacist to deliver therapeutic medication monitoring, protocol management, and education across our oncology clinics. The role collaborates with physicians and nursing staff to provide high-quality patient care tailored to oncologic diagnoses and prescribed therapies.

The incumbent will support drug information, dosing, monitoring, and retrospective drug utilization.

Qualifications

Pharmacy degree required; PharmD preferred.
Licensed pharmacist in state.
Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) preferred.
Valid state Driver's License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings.

Responsibilities

Provide timely consultation services to physicians, nurses, pharmacy staff, and other members of the organization.
Deliver up to date drug information on new approved therapies in the oncology space as well as other biologic therapies.
Apply current pharmacological and biopharmaceutical principles for the selection and use of drug products in a clinical setting to meet the therapeutic needs of a patient.
Provide senior clinical support and education to other members of the department in correlation with operational projects and objectives.
Coordinate the drug therapy process for Hematology/Oncology patients, including drug selection, monitoring and outcomes management.
Develop regimen builds and inquiries and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
