Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to oncology patients as part of the Cancer Center team. You will support specialty care across Urology, Ophthalmology, Gynecology, and clinical trials, including rounding with hematology/oncology and supervising medication preparation.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist in Illinois (IDFPR) required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy required.
• Clinical work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct Patient Care: Intervene to improve prescribing, administration, and monitoring practices.
• Medication Therapy Management (MTM): Provide MTM services and patient education as defined by regulations.
• Dosing Recommendations: Determine dosing based on age, weight, and renal/hepatic function.
• Collaborate with hematology/oncology and inpatient pharmacy teams.
• Oversee preparation of chemotherapy and investigational medications.
