Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required.
• Three years medical business office experience with insurance procedures and patient interactions.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients throughout their cancer journey and coordinate across care teams.
• Review insurance benefits and counsel patients on co-pay responsibilities.
• Assist patients in obtaining transportation and community services.
• Verify primary and secondary insurance before initial visit.
• Review chemotherapy protocols and determine patient insurance needs.
