Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Customer service or patient financial services experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient demographics and input into the EHR accurately to maximize reimbursement.
• Handle patient intake, registration, and insurance verification.
• Provide financial counseling and discuss patient liability with patients and families.
• Submit payer authorizations and understand insurance guidelines to reduce denials.
• Deliver excellent customer service in a high-volume hospital setting.
