Job summary

Banner Health seeks an experienced PAS Representative in Oncology for our Scottsdale facility. You will be the first contact for patients, handling registration, insurance verification, financial counseling, and collection of patient liability.

The role requires compassion, clear communication, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced hospital environment. Training will occur at Banner University Cancer Center before Scottsdale Clinic opening date.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in patient financial services, billing, or insurance processes.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Verifies patient demographics and inputs information into the EHR system.
• Assists patients with insurance verification and benefits eligibility.
• Provides financial counseling and communicates patient liability.
• Genrates patient estimates and discusses payment options and plans.
• Delivers excellent customer service in a high-volume clinical setting.
• Performs other related patient access tasks as needed.
