Job summary

Mercy South Sindelar Cancer Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Nurse Navigator to guide oncology patients and families through diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, and follow-up care. You will coordinate care, educate patients, remove barriers to treatment, and collaborate with oncologists, infusion, imaging, social work, and other teams to ensure timely, high-quality care.

This full-time role requires 2–3 years nursing experience, an active RN license, BLS, and a BSN or certification

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• 2–3 years of nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and navigate care for oncology patients through diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, and follow-up.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, procedures, and side effects.
• Facilitate communication among patients, providers, infusion, imaging, and support teams.
