Job summary

AbbVie Oncology is seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Educator (ONE) to proactively engage with allied healthcare professionals, delivering product and disease education for patient management on approved therapies. This field-based role covers the Connecticut and Rhode Island territory.

You will develop education plans, train clinicians on dosing and administration, and collaborate with sales, marketing, and medical teams to improve clinical outcomes and knowledge consistency across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, NP, PA or PharmD is required.
• Current active healthcare professional license.
• 7+ years of clinical oncology/hematology experience, with recent Hematology and multiple myeloma exposure preferred.
• Strong communication, business acumen, and presentation skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% (domestic) and work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic education leader across academic and community oncology accounts.
• Develop customized educational plans from clinical insights and account dynamics.
• Educate clinicians on dose, administration, and adverse event management for therapies.
• Provide 1:1 presentations, in-services, and round-table discussions.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, clinical operations) to support education initiatives.
• Document interactions and manage allocated resources.
• Travel within assigned territory to deliver education programs.
