Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an Oncology Nurse Educator (ONE) to proactively engage with allied health professionals, delivering product and disease education across hematologic and solid tumor malignancies. This field-based role requires travel to diverse academic and community oncology accounts, with a focus on education planning, dosing, administration, and adverse event management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, NP, PA or PharmD required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Current active HCP license.
• 7+ years clinical oncology/hematology experience; recent Hematology experience required; recent multiple myeloma preferred.
• Experience in academic and/or community oncology practice with Hematology/Oncology patients.
• Passion for patients is essential
• Excellent communication, objective setting, influencing, business acumen, analytical and strong presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and continuous learning
• Demonstrated ability interpreting clinical and pharmacoeconomic data
• Travel 50% of the time; valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic education leader across academic and community oncology accounts with approved resources.
• Develop customized educational plans from account dynamics and clinical insights.
• Educate clinicians on identification and role of approved therapies for hematologic and solid tumors.
• Educate on product preparation, administration, and adverse event management.
• Provide education to patient care teams on initiation and management per protocols.
• Present clinical topics to diverse audiences and attend internal meetings.
• Support staff at exhibits and contribute to training initiatives for the sales team.
• Collaborate across internal functions (sales, marketing, medical, etc.).
• Travel to various regions to deliver education and support.
