Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an Oncology Nurse Educator to engage with allied health professionals, providing product and disease education across hematology and solid tumor malignancies. The role focuses on patient management education, dosing, administration, and side effect management.

The ONE will travel up to 50% within the Connecticut/Rhode Island territory, collaborating with field teams to ensure education support and program delivery for oncology care teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years clinical oncology/hematology experience, with recent Hematology focus.
• Active HCP license required.
• Experience in academic and/or community oncology practice with Hematology/Oncology patients.
• Strong communication, objective setting, influencing and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and drive as needed.

Responsibilities

• Educate allied healthcare clinicians on product and disease education across oncology accounts.
• Develop customized educational plans from account dynamics and clinical insights.
• Educate on dosing, administration, and adverse event management of therapies.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and clinical operations to support oncology education initiatives.
• Represent education at internal national, regional, and local meetings.
• Document interactions and manage resources allocated to education programs.
