Job summary

AbbVie Oncology is seeking an Oncology Nurse Educator to proactively engage with allied healthcare professionals, delivering product and disease education for oncology patients. This field-based role supports education on patient management, dosing, administration, and adverse event management, across Connecticut and Rhode Island, with travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in nursing, NP, PA or PharmD required.
Master’s degree preferred.
Current active HCP license.
7+ years clinical oncology/hematology experience; recent hematology experience preferred.
Excellent communication, presenting, influencing, and analytical skills.
Willingness to travel up to 50% including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

Educate allied health care clinicians on product and disease education for hematologic and solid tumor malignancies.
Develop customized education plans through account analysis and clinical insights.
Provide education on dosing, administration, and adverse event management.
Deliver 1:1 presentations, in-services, round-table discussions, and podium presentations.
Collaborate with internal teams to support oncology education initiatives.
