Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an Oncology Nurse Educator (ONE) to proactively educate allied healthcare professionals on AbbVie therapies, dosing, administration, and adverse event management. This field-based role covers the Alabama region, with travel up to 50% and coordination with internal teams to support patient management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, NP, PA or PharmD required.
• Current active HCP license.
• 7+ years clinical oncology/hematology experience; recent hematology experience preferred.
• Experience in academic and/or community oncology practice.
• Excellent communication, objective setting, influencing, business acumen, analytical and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Educate allied health care clinicians on patient identification and role of approved therapies.
• Educate on dosing, administration, and adverse event management for approved products.
• Develop customized educational plans based on account dynamics and clinical insights.
• Deliver education programs through 1:1 presentations, in-services and round-table discussions.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, clinical operations and medical teams as needed.
• Travel to identify and manage education activities in assigned territory.
