Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join a fast‑paced clinic in the Concord area. You will perform rooming, vital signs, health history review, and assist providers with procedures and lab duties in a patient‑centered environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent clinical training.
• Experience as Medical Assistant within last 5 years is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to MA scope of practice and policies; maintains competency.
• Performs rooming/visit tasks including vital signs and health history.
• Assists provider with procedures and lab duties; collects specimens.
• Performs POCT and CLIA-waived tests; ensures accuracy and safety.
• Administers medications and vaccines per rights of administration.
• Maintains clean, stocked work environment and effective communication.
