Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required.
• One year of medical assistant experience in a clinic or physician's office with venipuncture.

Responsibilities

• Perform proper quality control procedures before patient testing.
• Conduct laboratory blood work and venipuncture.
• Prepare blood/bone marrow slides for evaluation and handle specimens per procedures.
• Process and document lab results in EMR and communicate with physicians.
