Job summary

Toledo Clinic Oncology is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant (Float) to provide clinical support at multiple Toledo area offices, including Toledo, Maumee, Oregon and Bowling Green. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30–4:30.

A $2,000 sign-on bonus is offered, with potential for an additional $2,000 retention bonus after one year of service. This role supports patient flow for chemotherapy appointments, assists physicians and NPs with patient care, and handles chart prep, vital signs, and lab

Qualifications

• Medical assisting degree or diploma from an accredited school.
• Credentialed as CMA or RMA (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Control patient flow in clinics to minimize wait times.
• Assist physicians/NPs with patient care and chart prep.
• Prepare patients for visits with vitals and pertinent data.
• Perform venipuncture and send lab specimens.
• Handle office laboratory functions and equipment maintenance.
• Coordinate with providers re: test results and referrals.
