Job summary

The Toledo Clinic, Inc. is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant (Float) to support oncology patients across several office locations in Toledo, Maumee, Oregon and Bowling Green, OH. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30–4:30, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus and potential for a $2,000 retention bonus after one year.

This role focuses on patient flow, assisting physicians, preparing charts, and supporting lab and vitals entry for meaningful use. It requires CMA/RMA credentials and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Medical assisting degree or diploma required.
• RMA/CMA credential required.
• BLS or CPR certification required.
• Ability to travel to multiple office locations regularly.

Responsibilities

• Control patient flow for physician/NP/Chemotherapy appointments.
• Assist physicians and NPs with patient care and chart preparation.
• Prepare patient for provider visit including collecting vital signs.
• Operate office lab functions including venipuncture and lab tests.
• Cover PTO/call-offs and fluctuating workload as needed.
