Job summary

TriHealth Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery, OH seeks an Acute Care Technician II for the 8300 Medical-Surgical Oncology unit. The role provides basic patient care under RN supervision and helps coordinate unit flow in a high-acuity med-surg setting.

This position offers opportunities to master advanced clinical skills, with emphasis on cardiothoracic, oncology, and vascular care, plus access to ongoing education and certification support.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Interpersonal skills with patients and team.
• Experience as STNA, PCA or ACT strongly preferred.
• HS education minimum requirement.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic patient care under RN supervision; completes assigned tasks accurately and on time.
• Maintains competency in required skills and seeks clarification when needed.
• Ensures a safe environment; reports hazards and follows infection control and safety procedures.
• Communicates respectfully with patients, families, and staff; collaborates with the healthcare team.
• Documents care and observations per guidelines and maintains medical records.
