TriHealth Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery, OH is seeking an Acute Care Tech I for the 4200 Telemetry Unit. This on-site role supports RN staff by performing basic patient care tasks and assisting with patient flow on a high-acuity telemetry unit.

The position is part-time, nights, 36 hours weekly, with opportunities to grow in critical care and gain exposure to advanced cardiac care. Requirements include basic education and BLS, plus dependable teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2 years High School Education; age 17 with work permit; Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Reading and math ability appropriate to the position

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents basic patient care tasks under the direct supervision of an RN.
• Maintains competency of tasks in which the PCA has been trained.
• Completes assigned tasks within required timeframe; seeks nurse clarification when needed.
• Maintains a safe environment; reports hazards; completes safety event reports; adheres to Infection Control policies.
