Job summary

TriHealth is seeking an Acute Care Tech II in the MSICU/PCU at Bethesda North Hospital to support nurses and clinical staff in high-acuity patient care. This on-site role offers days and nights, with Full-Time & Part-Time options to fit staffing needs.

This position provides opportunities to expand clinical skills, emergency response, and teamwork in a fast-paced hospital environment. Applicants must have a high school education and a BLS certification.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required for healthcare providers.
• Must be 17+ years old with a work permit.
• Reading and math skills appropriate for the role.
• Experience with multi-line phones, pagers, and call systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document basic patient care tasks under RN supervision.
• Assist with patient flow and use telecommunication devices for communication.
• Maintain a safe, clean care environment and report safety hazards.
• Initiate emergency calls (Code Blue, Fire, Rapid Response) per protocol.
• Support medical record maintenance and computer downtime procedures.
• Communicate respectfully with patients, families, and team members.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are available and functional.
