TriHealth Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery, OH is seeking an Acute Care Tech for the postpartum unit. This part-time role supports nursing staff, assists with basic patient care tasks, and helps coordinate patient flow for new mothers and families.

You will perform non-direct care and clerical duties under RN supervision, while maintaining a respectful, compassionate approach and strong teamwork to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and compassionate communication with patients, families and staff.
• Reading and math ability appropriate to the position.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsabilités

• Performs and documents basic patient care tasks under RN supervision.
• Maintains competency of trained tasks and completes them within required timeframes.
• Seeks nurse clarification when in doubt about procedures.
• Maintains a safe environment; reports hazards and follows infection control policies.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families and co-workers; documents observations.
• Assists with supply, equipment, and environmental tasks; ensures items are available for the next shift.
• Supports self-growth and accountability; participates in unit changes.
