Job summary

Texas Oncology in South Austin, TX, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician (IV Admixture) to join our team. This full-time role operates Monday–Friday from 8:30am to 5pm with no weekends or major holidays.

Under physician supervision, you will prepare medications in the admixture area, verify orders, and maintain accurate records and inventory in a compliant environment. Experience with IV skills is valued and growth opportunities exist across levels 1, 2, and Sr.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with preparation of medication orders by compounding or admixing under physician supervision.
• Checks orders for completeness and verifies patient information and physician authorization.
• Admixture of drugs under supervision in a timely and accurate manner following guidelines.
• Maintains temperature logs and protocol drug logs, and helps with inventory control.
• Keeps proper documentation for medications including lot numbers and billing.
