Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse in Lewiston, Maine to provide direct infusion care to oncology patients.

This 12-week assignment offers Day shifts with pay ranging from $56.00 to $64.00 per hour per shift, and a supportive team of career specialists to assist you.

Responsibilities include administering chemotherapy and other infusions, patient assessments, education, and ensuring HIPAA compliance within safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Active Maine RN license.
• Current BLS certification on hire.
• ACLS certification on hire.
• Minimum one year of RN Oncology experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to oncology patients in an infusion setting.
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions per protocol.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment response and side effects.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management.
• Ensure adherence to oncology safety standards and hazardous drug handling protocols.
• Communicate clinical changes, labs, and diagnostic results to physicians.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with oncology care team to coordinate treatment and supportive care.
