Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. The role involves direct oncology infusion care, chemotherapy administration, and patient education, with day shifts and a competitive per-shift pay structure.

The position requires active RN licensure in the state, BLS and ACLS upon hire, and at least one year of oncology RN experience. Compensation is discussed per shift with a Maine-specific range, and benefits are available

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to oncology patients in an infusion setting
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions per protocol
• Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment response and side effects
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management
• Ensure adherence to oncology safety standards and hazardous drug handling protocols
• Communicate clinical changes, labs, and diagnostic results to physicians
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance
• Collaborate with oncology care team to coordinate treatment and supportive care
