Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse for an infusion setting in Lewiston, Maine. This 12-week assignment offers days shifts with a per-shift pay of 672–768 gross dollars, equivalent to 56–64 per hour.

Responsibilities include administering chemotherapy, patient assessments, and collaboration with the oncology team. Requires current state RN license, BLS and ACLS on hire, and at least one year of RN Oncology experience.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS certification upon hire and maintain.
• ACLS certification upon hire and maintain.
• Minimum one year of RN Oncology experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to oncology patients in an infusion setting.
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions per protocol.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment response and side effects.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management.
• Ensure adherence to oncology safety standards and hazardous drug handling protocols.
• Communicate clinical changes, labs, and diagnostic results to physicians.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with oncology care team to coordinate treatment and supportive care.
