Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse for an infusion-focused role in Lewiston, Maine. Shifts: Days. Assignment length: 12 weeks. Pay: up to $672-$768 gross per shift ($56-$64/hr).

Provide direct oncology care, administer chemo/biotherapy/IV infusions, monitor treatment, educate patients, ensure safety and HIPAA compliance. Collaborate with care team and document care. Requirements: RN license, BLS and ACLS on hire, minimum 1 year oncology experience.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification required at hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) certification required at hire and maintained.
• Minimum one year of RN Oncology experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to oncology patients in an infusion setting.
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions per protocol.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment response and side effects.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management.
• Ensure adherence to oncology safety standards and hazardous drug handling protocols.
• Communicate clinical changes, labs, and diagnostic results to physicians.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with oncology care team to coordinate treatment and supportive care.
