Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. The role involves direct infusion care, administering chemo/biotherapy/immunotherapy, and coordinating with the oncology care team.

The position offers days shifts, competitive pay of $56.00–$64.00 per hour, weekly pay, and opportunities to work with award-winning hospital partners.

Qualifications

Current and valid state RN license.
BLS (AHA) certification upon hire.
ACLS (AHA) certification upon hire.
Minimum one year of RN Oncology experience.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care to oncology patients in an infusion setting.
Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions per protocol.
Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment response and side effects.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management.
Ensure adherence to oncology safety standards and hazardous drug handling protocols.
Communicate clinical changes, labs, and diagnostic results to physicians.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.
Collaborate with oncology care team to coordinate treatment and supportive care.
