Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse for an infusion-focused role in Lewiston, Maine. Shifts are Days, with an assignment length of 12 weeks, offering up to $672–$768 per shift ($56–$64 per hour).

The position requires RN licensure, BLS and ACLS on hire, and at least one year of Oncology RN experience. You will administer chemotherapy and other infusions while ensuring safety and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license
• BLS (AHA) required on hire and maintained
• ACLS (AHA) required on hire and maintained
• Minimum one year RN Oncology experience required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to oncology patients in an infusion setting
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions per protocol
• Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment response and side effects
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management
• Ensure adherence to oncology safety standards and hazardous drug handling protocols
• Communicate clinical changes, labs, and diagnostic results to physicians
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance
• Collaborate with oncology care team to coordinate treatment and supportive care
