Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an experienced Oncology Infusion Nurse for the Northwest Community Hospital Infusion Center in Arlington Heights, IL. The role is full-time, 40 hours/week, with varied shifts Monday through Friday and occasional weekends/holidays.

You will deliver safe, compassionate nursing care and collaborate with the clinical team to optimize patient outcomes. Requirements include a BSN, 1 year RN experience with oncology/infusion preferred, Illinois RN licensure, and BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• 1 year of RN experience required; 1 year oncology/infusion nursing preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required (American Heart Association).
• Illinois RN license required.
• OCN/ONS certification required or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements a plan of care with interventions to achieve outcomes.
• Evaluates progress and revises diagnoses and care plans as needed.
• Performs patient assessment and collects health data from patient, family, and care team.
• Communicates plan of care to patient/family and to the interdisciplinary team.
• Provides teaching tailored to patient/family learning needs and cultural background.
• Assists with injection of contrast, venipuncture, drug administration, and IV care.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and nursing research.
