Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an experienced Oncology Infusion Nurse for the Northwest Community Hospital Infusion Center in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time role involves delivering safe, compassionate care in an infusion setting with a schedule that includes weekdays and occasional weekends/holidays.

You will collaborate with clinicians to plan and execute patient care, educate patients and families, and support ongoing quality improvements in oncology infusion services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• 1 year RN experience required; oncology/infusion experience preferred.
• BLS/CPR by American Heart Association required.
• OCN/ONS certification required or willing to obtain.
• Current State of Illinois RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Develops a plan of care to achieve expected outcomes.
• Evaluates progress and revises diagnosis and interventions as needed.
• Provides patient assessment and health data collection.
• Communicates plan of care to patient, family, and care team.
• Individualizes teaching based on assessment.
• Assists with wound/ostomy/skin care as applicable.
• Participates in professional development and nursing research.
• Assists with injection of contrast, venipuncture, IV management as skilled.
