Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an experienced Oncology Infusion Nurse for our Northwest Community Hospital Infusion Center in Arlington Heights, IL. This part-time role (24 hours/week) requires a BSN, IL RN licensure, and oncology infusion experience, with opportunities to float to other clinics as needed.

The role focuses on compassionate patient care, clinical judgment, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure safe, evidence-based treatment and excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• 1 year of RN experience required, 1 year oncology/infusion nursing preferred.
• BLS/CPR by American Heart Association required.
• OCN/ONS certification required or candidates must be willing to obtain OCN/ONS certification and enroll in an approved certification course.
• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse Licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Develops a plan of care identifying interventions to achieve expected outcomes.
• Evaluates patient progress and revises diagnoses and interventions as needed.
• Performs patient assessment and collects health data from patient, family, and healthcare providers.
• Communicates plan of care to patient and family; shares patient data with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
• Delivers patient education tailored to learning needs and cultural background.
• Provides wound/ostomy/skin care teaching and supports patient self-management.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and embraces evidence-based practice.
• Assists in transportation of acutely ill patients when needed.
