Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Infusion Clinic team at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. The role involves delivering compassionate oncology nursing care, planning and implementing the patient plan of care, and collaborating with physicians and the care team.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Nursing, 1 year of RN experience with oncology/infusion preferred, and current BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, required.
• Experience: 1 year of RN experience, required; 1 year oncology/infusion nursing preferred.
• Certification: BLS/CPR (American Heart Association), required.
• OCN/ONS certification required or willingness to obtain and enroll in approved course.
• License: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse Licensure, required.

Responsibilities

• Develops a plan of care identifying interventions to achieve expected outcomes.
• Evaluates progress and revises plan as needed.
• Provides patient assessment and health data collection with patient, family, and other providers.
• Communicates plan of care to patient and family and to the interdisciplinary team.
• Individualizes patient teaching based on assessment to meet learning needs.
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist in transporting acutely ill patients as needed.
