Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Infusion Clinic in Naperville, IL. This full-time role requires compassionate patient care and collaboration with the clinical team to ensure optimal outcomes.

The RN will plan, implement, and evaluate the patient care plan, communicate with patients and families, and participate in ongoing professional development. Current IL RN licensure and BLS/CPR are required, with oncology/infusion experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• 1 year RN experience required.
• BLS/CPR issued by American Heart Association required.
• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse Licensure required.
• OCN/ONS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops a plan of care that identifies interventions to achieve expected outcomes.
• Evaluates patient’s progress toward attainment of outcomes and revises plans as needed.
• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Communicates plan of care to patient and family and to the physician and interdisciplinary team.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on assessment to meet learning needs.
• Assesses patient’s cultural background and learning barriers and adapts teaching.
• Provides disease management education and drug information.
• Identifies community resources to support patient self-management.
• Collaborates with peers and participates in professional development.
• Supports staff in using research and evidence-based care.
• Assists in wound/ostomy/skin care rounds and monitors treatment effectiveness.
• Executes HIPAA compliant patient data handling.
• Assists with transporting acutely ill patients when needed.
