Responsibilities include developing care plans, assessing patients, and educating patients and families. The position supports professional development and requires IL RN licensure and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Experience: 1 year RN experience; oncology/infusion preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops a plan of care to achieve expected outcomes.
• Evaluates progress and revises diagnoses and interventions as needed.
• Provides patient assessment and health data collection with patient, family and providers.
• Communicates care plan to patient/family and interprofessional team.
• Individualizes teaching based on assessment of learning needs.
• Assists with wound/ostomy/skin care and related nursing tasks.
• Supports performance improvement activities and evidence-based care.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance.
• May float to Plainfield Infusion Clinic as needed.
