Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
• Bilingual ability a plus for patient communication.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and guests, confirm identity and provide visit information.
• Complete check-in/out functions as directed.
• Update patient identification, demographics and insurance details.
• Register patients as needed and obtain consents/authorizations.
• Collect co-payments and post payments; handle end-of-day cash closing.
• Maintain waiting area cleanliness and comfort for patients.
• Inform patients of delays or changes in appointment status.
• Schedule appointments; float to other clinics as needed.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
