Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is seeking a Registered Nurse to join an interdisciplinary care team. This 0.9 FTE position emphasizes patient-centric nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within an oncology-infused infusion setting.

The role requires Washington RN licensure, BLS, and Oncology-related certifications with training provided for non-oncology experience. The center offers extensive benefits and relocation support as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Washington State RN license or multistate license (MSL).
• Oncology experience is preferred and training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
• Develop and implement a care plan based on disease and response to treatment.
• Educate patients and families on disease, treatment, and side effects.
• Coordinate with inter-disciplinary team for continuity of care.
• Administer chemotherapy, IV hydration, and blood products as ordered.
• Integrate research knowledge into clinical practice.
