Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse for an infusion-based role in Lewiston, Maine. The assignment runs for 12 weeks with day shifts and pay ranges per shift up to $672–$768 gross, equivalent to $56–$64 per hour.

The incumbent will provide direct cancer care, administer infusions, educate patients, and coordinate with the care team while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Immediate opportunities and weekly pay are highlighted.

Qualifications

• RN license is required and current in-state.
• BLS and ACLS certifications must be current on hire.
• Minimum one year of RN Oncology experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to oncology patients in an infusion setting.
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions per protocol.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment response and side effects.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management.
• Ensure adherence to oncology safety standards and hazardous drug handling protocols.
• Communicate clinical changes, labs, and diagnostic results to physicians.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with oncology care team to coordinate treatment and supportive care.
