Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse for Lewiston, Maine, in an infusion setting. This days shift role focuses on direct patient care, chemotherapy administration, and safety protocols.

The 12-week assignment offers pay up to $672-$768 per shift ($56-$64 per hour). Candidates must hold an active Maine RN license, current BLS and ACLS, with at least one year of oncology experience.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS (AHA) required on hire and maintain.
• Current ACLS (AHA) required on hire and maintain; minimum one year of RN Oncology experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to oncology patients in an infusion setting.
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions per protocol.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment response and side effects.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management.
• Ensure adherence to oncology safety standards and hazardous drug handling protocols.
• Communicate clinical changes, labs, and diagnostic results to physicians.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with oncology care team to coordinate treatment and supportive care.
