Job summary

Highlands Oncology Group is seeking an Imaging Scheduler to be the first point of contact for the Imaging Department. You will schedule diagnostic imaging studies, relay important instructions, and coordinate with patients, physicians, and technologists to ensure smooth patient journeys.

This role requires multitasking, strong customer service, and on-site presence in Northwest Arkansas within an oncology clinic.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical terminology and healthcare experience preferred.
• Onsite work required in oncology imaging scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate all diagnostic imaging studies (MRI, PET/CT, CT, X-Ray, Ultrasound).
• Provide instruction and prepare patients for their scans.
• Maintain accurate schedules and communicate changes to patients and staff.
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and departments to ensure timely exams.
• Assist with intake, insurance updates, and screening questionnaires at scheduling.
