Job summary

Highlands Oncology Group in Northwest Arkansas is actively seeking an experienced nurse (RN or LPN) to provide direct care for oncology and hematology patients. You will perform nursing assessments, administer medications, interpret EKGs, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team within the Imaging Department and clinic settings.

The role requires a valid Arkansas license, CPR/ACLS, and a minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in oncology.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (LPN or RN).
• Arkansas state license valid.
• CPR / ACLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience; oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to hematology and oncology patients.
• Triaging patient issues and emergency management; collaborate with physician as needed.
• Administer medications and educate patients and families on use and side effects.
• Interpret EKG rhythm strips.
• Coordinate patient care activities with other departments and maintain patient confidentiality.
