Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• RN license issued by the State of California.
• BART or BLS at time of hire with plan to obtain BART within six months.
• Minimum of three years of oncology/hematology/cellular therapy RN experience.
• Demonstrated multidisciplinary care coordination experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Ability to work with teams across multiple departments.
• Strong critical thinking, clinical skills and patient teaching.

Responsibilities

• Provide autonomous nursing care consistent with ANA Standards of Practice.
• Triage and assess via telephone and in person; educate patients and families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and cross-train across disease teams as needed.
• Participate in shared governance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Prioritize and manage care in a fast-paced environment.
