UC San Diego Health is seeking a dynamic RN for the Hematology & Cellular Therapy clinic at Moores Cancer Center. The position emphasizes autonomous nursing care, excellent triage, and patient education, with collaboration across a multidisciplinary team.

Qualified candidates have oncology experience and California RN licensure, with potential cross-training across disease teams and involvement in governance councils. 10-hour shifts, 100% appointment, 66.25–92.86 hourly range.

Formación

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• RN license issued by the State of California.
• BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six months of hire date.
• Must have a minimum of three (3) years of oncology, hematology, or cellular therapy RN experience.
• Demonstrated multidisciplinary care coordination experience.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with all levels of staff, physicians, patients, and their families.
• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with team members across multiple departments.
• Excellent critical thinking, clinical, and patient teaching skills with vulnerable patient populations.
• Demonstrated ability to rapidly prioritize and manage care in a fast-paced environment.
• Evidence of commitment to lifelong learning.

Responsabilidades

• Provide autonomous nursing care within ANA standards of practice.
• Perform triage and assessment via telephone and in-person visits.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and treatments.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Opportunity to cross-train between disease teams as needed.
• Engage in shared governance councils and performance improvement initiatives.
