Merck & Co., Inc. is seeking an Oncology Sales Specialist to grow our oncology portfolio and expand patient access in the Oklahoma City area.

You will engage with customers to address needs, educate stakeholders about our therapies, and collaborate with the Oncology Customer Team Leader to meet territory goals. The role emphasizes a customer-centric approach, strong relationship building, and the ability to travel as needed, including overnight trips.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of sales experience or high school with 10+ years of equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of oncology field-based sales experience.
• Experience in healthcare/pharmaceutical/medical devices fields acceptable.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (overnight).
• Reside in or near the district with ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed the assigned sales goals for the geography.
• Engage with customers to understand needs and educate stakeholders about our Oncology products.
• Collaborate with the Oncology Customer Team Leader and other team members to deliver a seamless customer experience.
• Analyze market trends and patterns in product distribution to inform short- and long-term plans.
