Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine’s PECS team seeks a Field Reimbursement Manager for the Mississippi/Arkansas territory. The role focuses on education of HCPs on reimbursement, access support, and collaboration with field teams to address payer and patient access challenges.

The position requires up to 50% travel, strong communication, and proven cross-functional collaboration within a matrix organization. Oncology experience is preferred, and a valid U.S. driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business/public administration; an MBA or MPH preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Reimbursement or managed care experience (revenue cycle, buy-and-bill, coding, and appeals).
• Ability to establish relationships, collaborate, and influence across a matrix organization.
• Valid US driver’s license and driving record compliant with company standards.

Responsibilities

• Proactively educate HCPs on reimbursement processes, claims submissions, procedures, and coding requirements of payer organizations.
• Collaborate with field support team members and serve as reimbursement expert for the local team.
• Address critical access and affordability issues for patients with urgency.
• Partner with managed care colleagues to understand current policies and potential changes.
• Conduct field-based reimbursement and access support, education and problem-solving per FRM Rules of Engagement.
• Build strong relationships with customers in Oncology accounts.
• Manage territory logistics, routing, and account business planning.
• Maintain knowledge of market dynamics including coverage and coding requirements.
