Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine’s PECS team seeks a Field Reimbursement Manager to support access and affordability for Janssen therapies across a multi-state territory, including management of payer strategies and provider collaboration.

You will educate HCPs, coordinate with sales and support teams, and lead reimbursement initiatives to improve patient access. Travel up to 75% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business/public administration.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Account Management and/or Reimbursement experience in provider settings.
• Reimbursement or managed care experience (revenue cycle, buy-and-bill, prior authorization, coding, and appeals).
• Ability to establish relationships, collaborate, and influence across a matrix organization.
• Problem-solving to navigate access scenarios and identify solutions quickly.
• Superior communication skills (written and verbal).
• Experience with patient support HUB services.
• Valid US driver’s license and driving record compliant with company standards.
• Permanent residence in the listed territory.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on reimbursement processes and payer coding requirements.
• Collaborate with field support teams and serve as access and reimbursement expert.
• Lead compliant access discussions with field teams.
• Use data to address access barriers proactively.
• Address critical access and affordability issues with urgency.
• Partner with managed care to understand policies and changes.
• Conduct field-based reimbursement and access support aligned to FRM Rules of Engagement.
• Build trust-based relationships with customers in assigned accounts.
• Manage territory logistics, routing, and business planning.
• Maintain knowledge of national and local market dynamics and payer requirements.
• Collaborate with internal J&J departments and serve as SME on access/affordability.
• Execute work to highest ethical, legal, and compliance standards; complete required training.
