Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager for the Saint Paul, MN territory, covering Appleton, WI and Eau Claire, WI, with up to 75% travel. You will educate healthcare providers on reimbursement, lead access discussions, and collaborate with sales and PWM teams to optimize patient access to oncology therapies.

The role requires a strong background in reimbursement, buy-and-bill processes, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business/public administration; MBA/MPH preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Account Management and/or Reimbursement experience in the provider office setting.
• Expertise with pharmacy and medical buy&bill, coding, billing, prior authorizations, and appeals.
• Reimbursement or relevant managed care experience.
• Ability to establish relationships, collaborate, and influence across a matrix organization.
• Problem-solving ability to navigate challenging access scenarios and identifies solutions.
• Superior communication skills (written and verbal).
• Experience in working with patient support HUB services.
• Valid US driver’s license and driving record.
• Permanent residence in the listed territory.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on reimbursement processes, claims submissions, procedures, and coding requirements of payer organizations.
• Collaborate with field support team members such as sales representatives and key account managers and serve as access, fulfillment, and reimbursement expert for the local team.
• Lead compliant access and fulfillment discussions with field support team members.
• Utilize data and account management skills to proactively address access barriers.
• Act with urgency and accountability to address critical access and affordability issues for patients.
• Partner with managed care colleagues to understand current policies and potential future changes.
• Conduct field-based reimbursement and access support, education and problem-solving.
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers in all assigned accounts.
• Manage territory logistics, routing, and account business planning.
• Maintain knowledge of market dynamics including coverage and coding requirements.
• Grow knowledge of hub and specialty distribution channels to support patients.
• Collaborate with internal departments and serve as subject matter expert on access and affordability.
