Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine’s PECS team seeks a Field Reimbursement Manager for the Philadelphia/South Jersey territory. The FRM educates healthcare providers on reimbursement, resolves access issues, and collaborates with sales and PHC teams to support patient access to oncology therapies.

This role involves substantial on-site work with HCPs and travel up to 75%. Strong knowledge of payer policies and prior authorizations is required, along with a bachelor's degree and 5+ years of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business/public administration; MBA/MPH preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in account management and reimbursement in provider offices.
• Expertise with pharmacy/medical buy-and-bill, coding, billing, and authorizations.
• Reimbursement or managed care experience and ability to influence across teams.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with HUB services.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on reimbursement processes, claims submissions, and payer coding.
• Collaborate with field support teams and act as reimbursement expert for the local team.
• Address access and affordability issues for patients with urgency.
• Partner with managed care colleagues to understand policies and changes.
• Perform field-based reimbursement and access support and problem-solving.
• Build trust-based relationships with Oncology customers and manage territory logistics.
• Stay current on market dynamics, coverage, and coding requirements.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, medical science, and PECS on access initiatives.
• Adhere to ethical, legal and compliant standards and complete required training.
